Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- PoE injector or PoE switch
- Micro-USB cable (for initial setup)
- Phone handset
- Base station power adapter
Step-by-Step Installation
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all components from packaging including base station, handset, battery, charger, and documentation.
- Battery Installation: Insert the rechargeable battery into the handset, ensuring proper polarity alignment.
- Base Station Setup: Place the base station in a central location with good ventilation and away from electronic interference.
- Network Connection: Connect the base station to your network using an Ethernet cable. For PoE models, ensure your switch provides adequate power.
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the base station and plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Handset Registration: Place the handset on the base station charger to initiate automatic registration with the base station.
- System Configuration: Access the phone's web interface or use the handset menu to configure network settings and extension numbers.
- Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and proper registration with your PBX system.
