Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug Ethernet cable from switch into the NETWORK port on the phone.
  2. Connect PC (optional): Plug Ethernet cable from PC into the PC port on the phone.
  3. Connect Handset: Attach coiled handset cord to handset and phone base.
  4. Power the Phone: Use Power over Ethernet (PoE) or optional external power adapter.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Phone will boot and attempt to obtain network configuration automatically.

  1. Check Network Registration: Observe display for IP address and registration status.
  2. Configure Extension/Line: Enter SIP credentials provided by your administrator via phone keypad or web interface.
  3. Set Language and Time: Use Settings menu to select language and configure time/date.
  4. Adjust Audio: Set ringer type, volume levels, and speakerphone/handset settings.

Advanced Features

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press flashing line key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD button during call.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target number, press TRANSFER again.
  5. Conference: Press CONFERENCE during call, dial second party, press CONFERENCE again.
  6. Forward Calls: Use Call Forward settings in menu (always, busy, no answer).
  7. Voicemail: Press MESSAGES key to access voicemail (requires server setup).
  8. Directory: Press DIRECTORY to view personal and corporate directories.

WARNING! Do not use excessive force on keys or handset. Use authorized accessories only.
