Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (included)
  • Network switch with PoE capability
  • Screwdriver (if mounting to wall)
  • Network configuration details

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with access to network connection and power outlet, on a stable surface.
  2. Connect Network Cable: Connect the Ethernet cable from the phone's LAN port to your network switch or router.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a power outlet, or use Power over Ethernet (PoE).
  4. Handset Connection: Connect the handset cord to the handset port on the phone.
  5. Network Configuration: Wait for the phone to boot and obtain IP address from DHCP server.
  6. Phone Registration: Register the phone with your Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) or call control system.
  7. Test Functionality: Test basic functions including dial tone, making calls, and receiving calls.
Warning: All network configurations must be performed by qualified IT personnel to ensure proper operation and security compliance.

Troubleshooting
