Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable conference table.

  1. Connect to Network: Use the supplied Ethernet cable to connect the PHONE port to your network switch. For PoE, ensure switch supports 802.3af.
  2. Connect Optional PC: Use second Ethernet cable from PC port to your computer.
  3. Power the Phone: If not using PoE, connect the AC power adapter to the DC port and an electrical outlet.
  4. Attach Handset: Connect the handset cord to the jack on the phone base.

WARNING! Use only approved power sources. Ensure cables are routed safely to prevent tripping hazards.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Boot: Phone will obtain IP address via DHCP. Check screen for successful registration.
  2. Configure SIP Lines: Contact your system administrator for SIP server address, username, and password. Enter via Settings > Phone > Line Configuration.
  3. Set Language and Time: In Settings > User Preferences, select language and configure time zone.
  4. Audio Calibration: Run the built-in audio setup wizard for optimal speakerphone performance in your room.

Making and Managing Calls

Supports standard call functions and conference calling.

  1. Make a Call: Tap a free line, dial number on keypad (on-screen), and tap Dial or press Speakerphone.
  2. Answer a Call: Tap Answer on screen or press Speakerphone.
  3. Hold/Resume: Tap Hold button during active call.
  4. Transfer Call: Tap Transfer, enter target number, tap Transfer again.
  5. Conference Call: During first call, tap Conference, dial second party, tap Conference again to merge.
  6. Mute: Press physical MUTE button; red LED indicates active mute.
  7. Adjust Volume: Use VOLUME rocker during a call or from home screen.
  8. Call History: Access from home screen to view missed, received, and placed calls.
