Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place phone on stable surface near network outlet.

First-Time Setup

  2. Connect Ethernet cable from network outlet to LAN port on phone.
  3. For computer connection, run cable from PC port to computer's Ethernet port.
  4. Power on phone; verify link lights on Ethernet ports.

Tip: Use straight-through Ethernet cables. Ensure switch port is enabled for VoIP traffic.

Making and Receiving Calls

Basic call functions for daily use.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number using keypad, press Dial softkey or wait for auto-dial.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press Answer softkey, or press Speakerphone.
  3. End Call: Hang up handset, press EndCall softkey, or press Speakerphone to turn off.
  4. Hold/Resume: Press Hold button to place call on hold; press Resume to return.
  5. Mute: Press Mute button during call to mute microphone (LED lights when active).
  6. Adjust Volume: Use Volume rocker during call for handset/speaker volume; at idle for ringer volume.
  7. Redial: Press Redial softkey or dial ** to call last dialed number.
  8. Call Forward: Activate via Call Forward softkey or through CUCM user web portal.
