Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug Ethernet cable from network switch into NETWORK port on phone.
  2. Connect PC: Plug Ethernet cable from PC into PC port on phone (optional).
  3. Connect Handset: Plug coiled handset cord into HANDSET port.
  4. Power the Phone: Use PoE from switch or connect external power adapter to power port.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Phone will boot and attempt to register with call server.

  1. Check Registration: Observe display for extension number and status (Registered).
  2. Set Preferences: Press SETTINGS button to adjust ring type, contrast, etc.
  3. Program Speed Dials: Use phone menu to assign numbers to speed dial keys.
  4. Test Call: Lift handset and dial another extension to verify audio.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect cables while phone is powered on.

Using Phone Features

Supports basic and advanced telephony features.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press Answer soft key.
  3. Hold: Press Hold soft key to place call on hold.
  4. Transfer: During call, press Transfer, dial target, press Transfer again.
  5. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial participant, press Conference again.
  6. Forward Calls: Use Call Forward feature in Settings menu.
  7. Mute: Press Mute button to mute microphone.
  8. Volume Adjustment: Use Volume rocker during call or while idle.

WARNING! Do not expose phone to liquids. Keep vents clear for cooling.
