Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable to connect the PC port to your computer and the Network port to the switch/router.
  2. Power the Phone: Use PoE from switch or connect the external power adapter to the power port.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug the handset cable into the handset port.
  4. Optional Headset: Plug a headset into the headset jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network Boot: Phone will attempt to obtain IP address via DHCP.
  2. Register with Call Manager: Phone will download configuration from Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  3. Set Language: Press Settings button, select User Preferences > Language.
  4. Configure Time/Date: Settings > Device Configuration > Time & Date.

  3. Hold: Press Hold button to place call on hold.
  4. Transfer: During call, press Transfer, dial target, press Transfer again.
  5. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial participant, press Conference again to merge.
  6. Call Forward: Press CFwdAll softkey, enter destination number.
  7. Do Not Disturb: Press DND softkey to silence calls.
  8. Speed Dials: Program via Directory > Personal Directory.
  9. Voicemail: Press Messages button to access voicemail.

WARNING! Do not use phone with wet hands. Keep liquids away.
