Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (if not using PoE)
- Network switch with PoE capability
- Screwdriver set
- Network cable tester
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper network connectivity and power source, preferably near a network switch.
- Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect the phone for any visible damage.
- Network Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network switch to the phone's network port. Use PoE if available.
- Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a power outlet.
- Handset and Accessories: Connect the handset cable to the handset port and attach any additional accessories like headsets.
- Power On: Power on the phone and wait for it to boot up and register with the network.
- Configuration: Configure network settings and extension through the phone's web interface or configuration server.
- Test Functionality: Test calling, receiving calls, and all features to ensure proper operation.
