IP Phone Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE capability
  • Screwdriver set
  • Network cable tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper network connectivity and power source, preferably near a network switch.
  2. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and inspect the phone for any visible damage.
  3. Network Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network switch to the phone's network port. Use PoE if available.
  4. Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a power outlet.
  5. Handset and Accessories: Connect the handset cable to the handset port and attach any additional accessories like headsets.
  6. Power On: Power on the phone and wait for it to boot up and register with the network.
  7. Configuration: Configure network settings and extension through the phone's web interface or configuration server.
  8. Test Functionality: Test calling, receiving calls, and all features to ensure proper operation.
Warning: All network configurations must be performed by qualified IT personnel to ensure proper operation and network security.
