IP Phone Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE capability
  • Screwdriver set
  • Network cable tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Unpack and Inspect: Remove all packaging materials and verify all components are present (phone, handset, cables, documentation).
  2. Network Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network switch to the LAN port on the phone. For PoE models, ensure your switch supports Power over Ethernet.
  3. Computer Connection: Connect your computer to the PC port on the phone if you want to use the phone's built-in switch.
  4. Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone and plug it into a power outlet.
  5. Handset Connection: Connect the handset to the handset port using the coiled cable provided.
  6. Power On: Press the power button or wait for PoE to initialize. The phone will boot up and attempt to register with the call server.
  7. Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to configure network settings or wait for automatic provisioning from your PBX system.
  8. Test Functionality: Make test calls to verify audio quality and all features are working properly.
Warning: All installations must be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure proper network configuration and security settings are applied.

Troubleshooting
