Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (if not using PoE)
- Network switch with PoE support
- Screwdriver (for wall mount)
- Network configuration tool
Step-by-Step Installation
- Network Preparation: Ensure your network switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) or have the AC power adapter ready.
- Connect to Network: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the phone's network port and the other to your network switch.
- Power Connection: If using PoE, the phone will power up automatically. Otherwise, connect the AC power adapter.
- Handset and Accessories: Connect the handset to the handset port and optional accessories like headsets or expansion modules.
- Initial Boot: Allow the phone to boot up completely. This may take 2-3 minutes for initial configuration.
- Network Configuration: Configure network settings either manually or via DHCP, depending on your network setup.
- Phone Registration: Register the phone with your call control system (CUCM, CME, or third-party PBX).
- Test Functionality: Test basic functions including making/receiving calls, volume controls, and feature buttons.
