Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
- Power adapter (if not using PoE)
- Network switch with PoE capability
- Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
- Network configuration access
Step-by-Step Installation
- Network Preparation: Ensure your network switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) or have the appropriate power adapter ready.
- Physical Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network port to the switch port on your network switch.
- Power Connection: If using PoE, the phone will power up automatically. Otherwise, connect the power adapter to the phone and power outlet.
- Initial Boot: Allow the phone to boot completely. This may take 2-3 minutes as it downloads configuration from the server.
- Network Configuration: Configure the phone's network settings through the web interface or DHCP server.
- DND Feature Setup: Configure Do Not Disturb settings through the phone's menu or web administration interface.
- Test Functionality: Test basic calling functions and verify DND feature is working properly.
