Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE capability
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network configuration details

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Network Preparation: Ensure your network supports VoIP and has proper Quality of Service (QoS) settings configured.
  2. Physical Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network port to your switch. Use PoE or connect the power adapter.
  3. Phone Boot-up: Allow the phone to boot up completely. This may take 2-5 minutes as it downloads configuration.
  4. Network Configuration: Configure VLAN settings if required by your network infrastructure.
  5. Extension Setup: Program the phone extension, SIP credentials, and server information as provided by your administrator.
  6. Feature Configuration: Set up speed dials, call forwarding, voicemail, and other features as needed.
  7. Testing: Test the phone by making internal and external calls to verify proper functionality.
